For more than two thousand years, the black seed of the Neguilla has been used in many countries of the Middle East or the Far East, as natural medicine. In 1959 Al-dakhakhny and his group extracted the Nigellone from their oil. The black seed of the Neguilla contains up to 40% of its weight in essential oil and 1.4% in the volatile oil. It also includes fifteen amino acids, proteins, calcium, iron, sodium, and potassium. Among its most active compounds are thymoquinone, dicimoquinone, cymo hydroquinone, and thymol.
In 1986, thanks to the research of Professor Al-kady and his group, which took place in the US, the active role that black seed plays in increasing immunity was discovered. Subsequently, in many countries, numerous research works were carried out on this plant. The Kady demonstrated that the use of black seed strengthens the immune system; it increases the amount of T lymphatic cells that help with suppressors by 72%. A 74% improvement in the activity of natural killer cells has been noted. Some recent studies gave the same results that Dr.
Al-kady arrived. Among these investigations, it is worth highlighting what the magazine Al-Namaha al-Sawaya (Pharmaceutical Immunity) published in August 1995, on the effect that the black seed of the Neguilla has on human lymphatic cells. He also announced in September 2000 a study, experienced in mice, on the preventive effect of black seed oil against cytomegalovirus. This oil has been experienced as an antivirus, and the immunity acquired during the early stage of infection has been measured by determining the natural killer cells.
In October 1999, the Western Cancer magazine published a paper on the effect of the substance thymoquinone on intestinal cancer in mice.
In April 2000, the medical journal Ethanol published an article on the toxic and immunological effects of ethanol extracted from this seed.
In February 1995, the journal Medicinal Plants published a study of the effect of fixed oil in Neguilla and the substance of thymoquinone on white blood cells. In this area, there are many works supporting these results.
Nature of the miracle:
The prophet reported that black seed is a cure for all diseases. In the other hadiths related to this matter, the word Chifaa (priest) has been revealed without the determined article, in affirmative style, therefore it is an indefinite word that does not imply any generality. Consequently, it can be said that in this seed there is a high percentage of medicinal substances for all diseases.
It is demonstrated that the immune system is the only one that has the ability to fight diseases due to the acquired immune system that can constitute particular antibodies for each disease-causing being, and create individual killer cells.
Through the investigations conducted on the effects of the Neguilla, it has been shown that its seed activates the acquired immunity since it raised the number of natural killer cells, suppressors and cells – all of them are very special and precise cells – even in an Approximately 75%, according to El-kady.
Such conclusions were supported by research published in other journals; as an improvement in the function of lymphatic cells was noted, the substance of interferon and interleukin 1 and 2 was increased, and development in cellular immunity. This immune system improvement comes from the destructive effect of black seed extract against cancer cells and some viruses. In turn, it improves the impact of bilharziasis.
Therefore, we can conclude that in the seed of the Neguilla there is a remedy for each disease because it repairs and strengthens the immune system whose responsibility is to cure diseases and fight viruses. This system interacts with the causes of the disease by offering a complete or partial medication for each.
Such scientific facts included in the hadith of the Prophet have been revealed. Muhammad transmitted this reality to us fourteen centuries ago, so no human being, except a prophet, can claim the merit of showing such facts. The Koran says of him : “He does not speak on his own impulse. It is not but a revelation that has been made . ”The Star, verses 3 and 4.
Its scientific name is Neguilla Sativa.
Both ulemas collected the correct hadiths (sayings, facts, and decisions of the prophet) in two books; the first is titled Sahih Albujary, and the other, Sahih Muslim, which is the best of the compiled books.
